There are times when it seems people can become famous for no discernible reason in the celebrity obsessed culture we live in.
Well here are a couple of North East lads who do deserve a bit of recognition, for different reasons.
Firstly there is RAF aircraftsman Paul Goodfellow who has made a video blog of his experiences of active service in Afghanistan.
